In continuation of my despatch No. 44 of
the 17th instant regarding the murder of Yeung Kui
Wan in HongKong and the complicity of the Chinese
Authorities, I have now the honour to forward here-
with copy of a despatch from the Colonial Secretary
of HongKong, dated the 17th instant, from which it
will be seen that His Excellency the Governor con-
curs in the belief that the case, so far as the Can-
tonese Authorities are concerned, can be pursued no
further.
